It tells you when to refill and when to change the filter

The 0.8-gallon (3-liter) tank has a level indicator. Turn Humea off and unplug it before refilling, and fill only up to the max mark.

When the water runs low, the display shows two flashing lines and the fan keeps running to dry the unit (7 hours in normal mode, 10 hours in sleep mode), then stops on its own.

A built-in counter tracks the wick filter. When the filter is used up, the display shows FR and Humea stops working. Install a new wick filter, then reset the counter by holding On/Off for 3 seconds until it beeps.

Humea is recommended for rooms up to 474 sq ft. The area it actually humidifies depends on your room's humidity, temperature, ventilation, heating and the weather outside, and can be smaller.
It's a humidifier, not an aroma diffuser: add water only, never oils or fragrance.
Use cold tap, distilled or drinking water, no warmer than 104°F.
If condensation forms on windows or walls, the room is humid enough. Turn it off.

Daily care (turn it off and unplug it first)

Change the water every day.
Rinse the wick filter under running water every day.
Wash the tank every 1–2 days with warm water (up to 86°F) and a soft cloth.
Not using it for more than 2 days? Empty the tank and let the wick filter dry.
Replace the wick filter about every 3–6 months, depending on water hardness and use. Use only the genuine PRO Evaporative Filter for the Klarta Humea.
